We can now expect to live longer than ever before, and if we get ill, we expect to be made better! However new threats continue to emerge. A science video where the panel examine how lifestyle, old and emergent diseases, and recent developments in science, will affect lives in the coming decades.
In this BBC/OU/Vega video the panel discusses tuberculosis and flu, new dangerous versions of old diseases, smoking and other lifestyle choices, and more exotic factors affecting lifespan.
